A 23-year-old man faces multiple charges following a crash in Windsor involving a black Dodge Charger. The incident occurred just after 8 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of Howard Avenue and Eugenie Street, where the vehicle collided with a utility pole. All five occupants fled the scene on foot but were soon located nearby by police.

The driver showed signs of impairment and had alcohol on his breath. After being taken to police headquarters, he failed a breath test. While no injuries were reported, the utility pole was significantly damaged.

Charges against the driver include impaired driving, having a blood alcohol concentration over the legal limit, fleeing the scene, failing to present both a driver’s license and insurance, and breaching conditions as a G2 driver by consuming alcohol.
