A 27-year-old man from Cambridge has died following a two-vehicle crash in Hamilton on Sunday afternoon.
The Ontario Provincial Police said officers were called around 5:40 p.m. to a collision on Highway 8 near Lynden Road, between Sheffield and Rockton.
Responding officers from the Burlington OPP located the Cambridge man deceased at the scene. A 69-year-old Hamilton man was transported to hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening. Police have not confirmed whether either individual was driving at the time.
The vehicles involved were described only as passenger vehicles. The investigation remains ongoing, and OPP traffic investigators are asking anyone with information — particularly dash cam footage from the area around the time of the crash — to contact police or reach out anonymously through Crime Stoppers.
