Provincial police are looking into a deadly collision involving a pickup truck and a pedestrian in Kawartha Lakes.
The crash occurred Friday at about 10 p.m. on Highway 7. Police say a 27-year-old man was killed and was pronounced dead at the scene. No other injuries were reported.
Highway 7 was temporarily shut down between Taylors Road and Opmar Road to allow investigators to examine the scene and has since reopened.
Authorities say the investigation is continuing and there are no indications of foul play. Police are asking anyone with information or dashcam or surveillance footage related to the incident to contact the OPP.
