A 29-year-old man from Beeton has died following a single-vehicle collision in Carling on the night of June 11.
According to Ontario Provincial Police, the vehicle struck a tree on Shebeshekong Road. The driver was taken to hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
As part of the investigation, Shebeshekong Road was temporarily closed between Shawanaga Road North and Woods Road while collision specialists and reconstruction experts examined the scene. The roadway reopened around 5 a.m.
Police continue to investigate and are seeking witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage from the area at the time of the crash.
