A three-vehicle collision involving a Peel police cruiser partially shut down Bovaird Drive in Brampton on Saturday morning.

The crash happened around 10:25 a.m. near Bovaird Drive and Bramalea Road. All drivers, including the officer, were taken to a local hospital. Peel EMS reported that two individuals were transported in stable condition.

Eastbound lanes between McKay Street and Bramalea Road were temporarily closed for investigation. The cause of the collision has not yet been determined, and there is no word on any charges.

Police thanked the public for their patience and said the roadways would reopen shortly.
