A 30-year-old Belleville resident died in a single-vehicle crash Tuesday morning after their vehicle left Highway 37 near Phillipston Road, according to Ontario Provincial Police.
Emergency crews responded to the collision at approximately 9:30 a.m. Police said the driver was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Highway 37 remained closed in the area for roughly seven hours while investigators examined the scene. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
