A 31-year-old LaSalle man is facing multiple charges following a two-vehicle collision in Essex earlier this month.
Ontario Provincial Police responded to the crash on Highway 3 near County Road 8 at approximately 1:48 a.m. on May 16.
Following the investigation, officers charged the driver with impaired operation involving alcohol and drugs, operating a vehicle with a blood alcohol concentration over the legal limit, and dangerous driving.
Police also imposed a 90-day driver’s licence suspension and a seven-day vehicle impoundment under provincial regulations.
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Windsor on June 24, 2026.
