Police are continuing to investigate a head-on collision in Cambridge that left one man injured Wednesday night.

Emergency crews were called to Pinebush Road, just east of Franklin Boulevard, around 10:35 p.m. after a Toyota and a Honda crashed.

The Toyota driver, a 31-year-old man from Cambridge, was taken to hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening. The Honda driver, a 45-year-old man from Brantford, was not hospitalized.

The road was shut down for several hours while officers examined the scene, but it has since reopened. Authorities are still looking into the cause of the crash and are asking anyone with information to come forward.
