Ontario Provincial Police in Essex County report that a driver from Kingsville is facing multiple impaired driving charges following a collision in Essex.
Officers responded to a crash on County Road 50 East at approximately 8:23 p.m. Thursday. After investigating, police arrested a 32-year-old man.
He has been charged under the Criminal Code with impaired operation involving alcohol and drugs, operating a vehicle with a blood alcohol concentration over the legal limit, and dangerous driving.
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Windsor on April 1, 2026.
In addition to the charges, the driver received a 90-day administrative licence suspension and had his vehicle impounded for seven days, as required by law.
