A 33-year-old man has died following a single-vehicle crash early Tuesday morning east of Rockland, Ontario. The incident occurred around 6:45 a.m. on County Road 17, between Landry Road and Rollin Road.
According to the Ontario Provincial Police, the westbound vehicle crossed into the opposite lane, hit a guardrail, and then rolled over multiple times into a ditch. Several motorists, including an off-duty paramedic, stopped to assist and attempted life-saving measures, but the driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Russell County OPP is continuing to investigate the crash.
