A 34-year-old woman was killed in Cambridge Thursday afternoon after being struck by a vehicle at Langs Drive and Industrial Road.
Waterloo Regional Police were called around 12:05 p.m., and the woman was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries before being pronounced dead. The driver of the Honda CRV remained at the scene of the collision. Roads in the area were closed for about four hours during the investigation.

Update – A 75-year-old woman from Cambridge has been charged with careless driving causing death. She is scheduled to appear in court on February 9.
