A 39-year-old Essex woman has died after a single-vehicle collision near Harrow late Friday night.
Essex OPP officers were called to the intersection of County Road 15 and Fifth Concession Road shortly before 11:40 p.m. after a sedan travelling southbound left the roadway and came to rest in a nearby field.
Emergency crews attempted to resuscitate the woman, but she was pronounced dead at the scene.
Both roads were closed while police investigated the circumstances surrounding the crash. They have since reopened to traffic.
The investigation remains ongoing, and police are asking anyone who may have information about the collision to come forward.
