A two-vehicle collision in Kitchener sent four people to hospital Friday morning.

Emergency crews responded around 10:50 a.m. to the intersection of East Avenue and Stirling Avenue North involving a Honda and a Toyota. While both drivers escaped uninjured, four passengers from the Toyota—including three children—were taken to hospital with minor injuries as a precaution.

The intersection was temporarily closed for investigation but has since reopened. Police indicate that charges are anticipated.
