A 43-year-old Kingston man has died after being struck by a vehicle Friday night on Highway 15 in Rideau Lakes Township.
Ontario Provincial Police say the collision occurred shortly after 9 p.m. near the Village of Elgin, about 55 kilometres northeast of Kingston. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
The vehicle involved was described as an SUV, and police confirmed the driver was not injured. No charges have been laid at this time.
