A 53-year-old Mount Forest resident has died after a single-vehicle crash on Highway 6 in Wellington North on Saturday evening.
Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police responded to the scene around 6 p.m. between Sideroad 3 and Sideroad 4, where investigators say the vehicle left the roadway and entered a ditch.
The driver sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Highway 6 remained closed in the area for several hours as police examined the crash. The investigation into the cause of the collision is ongoing.
