Wellington County OPP have charged a 59-year-old Arthur resident following a disturbance at a home that escalated into a collision involving farm equipment.
Police were called to the community on Thursday evening. When officers arrived, they encountered a person operating a piece of farm equipment who allegedly drove it toward them.
According to police, the vehicle struck three police cruisers and several hydro poles before stopping. The incident caused significant property damage, but no injuries were reported. Officers also believed the driver was impaired.
The accused faces 21 charges, including five counts of assault with a weapon and two counts of domestic mischief. Further details about the remaining charges were not immediately provided.
