A 64-year-old woman has died following a two-vehicle crash on Highway 401 early Sunday morning near Iona Road in Dutton.
Emergency crews responded shortly after 2:30 a.m. The woman was transported to hospital with critical injuries but did not survive. Four additional people were also taken to hospital with varying injuries that were not life-threatening.
The eastbound lanes and the on-ramp between Union Road and Currie Road were temporarily shut down for the investigation but have since reopened.
