A 71-year-old woman has died after a two-vehicle collision in Whitchurch-Stouffville Tuesday afternoon.
York Regional Police report the crash involved a car and a dump truck near Bloomington Road and Thornbay Drive, west of Ninth Line, around 3:45 p.m. The driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of the collision has not yet been determined. Authorities have closed Bloomington Road from Highway 48 to Ninth Line while the investigation continues.
