A 73-year-old woman has died following a two-vehicle collision in Woolwich Township on Monday afternoon.
Emergency crews responded to the crash around 4:45 p.m. at the intersection of Sawmill Road East and Arthur Street South. Waterloo Regional Police say the incident involved a sedan and an SUV.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. A 19-year-old man from Woolwich Township was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
A heavily damaged white vehicle was seen off the road later in the evening. The area was closed for investigation.
