An 84-year-old driver was taken to hospital with serious injuries after a two-vehicle collision in east Windsor early Friday morning.
Windsor police were called to Wyandotte Street East and Marentette Avenue around 6 a.m., where two sedans had crashed and come to rest on opposite sides of the roadway.
Police said one of the vehicles sustained significant damage to its front driver’s side. The injured driver was transported to hospital for treatment.
Members of the traffic reconstruction unit are examining the scene as the investigation into the cause of the collision continues.
