A 9-year-old girl was hit by a vehicle in Toronto’s Weston neighbourhood on Wednesday morning and sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
The incident occurred just before 9 a.m. at the intersection of Pine Street and Lawrence Avenue West, near Jane Street. The driver remained at the scene, and no road closures were implemented.
The Toronto District School Board confirmed the girl is a student at Weston Memorial Junior Public School and is expected to fully recover. Police continue to investigate.
