A 95-year-old Burlington resident has died following a single-vehicle collision on Old York Road Saturday evening.
Halton Regional Police say the crash occurred shortly before 7:30 p.m. when a red Buick sedan travelling northbound left the roadway and struck a tree near 1380 Old York Road.
The driver, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, was transported to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
Investigators are continuing to examine the circumstances surrounding the crash. Police are asking anyone who witnessed the incident and has not yet spoken with officers to contact the Halton Regional Police collision reconstruction unit.
