A 42-year-old Barrie man is facing several charges, including attempted murder, after police say a person was deliberately struck by a vehicle in a Bradford West Gwillimbury neighbourhood Thursday evening.
South Simcoe Police responded to the incident and found the victim, who was treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Investigators determined the incident was targeted and that the accused and victim were known to each other.
The Barrie man was arrested and charged with attempted murder, assault with a weapon, criminal harassment, uttering threats and dangerous operation. He was held for a bail hearing and is scheduled to appear in court on August 12.
