A fire that broke out Tuesday morning at a Collingwood home is believed to have started from a battery charger in the attached garage, according to officials.
Firefighters responded to the scene on Dey Drive with five units. The blaze was brought under control and remained confined to the garage, which suffered significant damage.
The fire caused an estimated $400,000 in damage and displaced four residents. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
