Firefighters responded to a townhouse blaze in Mississauga on Sunday afternoon at an end-unit residence on Dixie Road, north of Rathburn Road. The fire is believed to have originated in the basement and spread upward to the third floor and attic.
Approximately 10 fire trucks were dispatched to the scene. Authorities have not confirmed whether anyone was inside the home at the time of the fire, and there is no information yet on possible injuries. The full extent of the damage is still being assessed.
