A Bradford man is facing impaired driving charges after crashing his vehicle into a ditch in Essa Township. Provincial police were called to 5th Sideroad, between the 9th and 10th Line, on Sunday morning after receiving a report of a single-vehicle incident.
Officers arrived to find the 36-year-old driver unharmed. During their interaction, police determined he was under the influence of alcohol, and he was taken into custody.
He has since been charged with operating a vehicle while impaired, including having a blood alcohol level over 80 mg, as well as driving while impaired by a mix of alcohol and drugs. He is expected to appear in court at a later date.
