A 34-year-old man from Brampton is facing several charges after police allege he was involved in a series of hit-and-run collisions.
The Ontario Provincial Police say officers were alerted to multiple crashes near the intersection of Chinguacousy Road and Mayfield Road at about 10 p.m. on Feb. 16. Authorities have not specified how many vehicles were damaged but say the driver did not remain at the scene.
Following an investigation, officers located the suspect vehicle and arrested the man.
He has been charged with impaired operation involving alcohol, failure or refusal to comply with a demand, and failing to stop after an accident.
