A fatal collision north of the Greater Toronto Area has claimed the life of a 24-year-old resident of Brampton.
The crash occurred shortly after 6:30 p.m. on Feb. 25 along County Road 124 near 20 Sideroad in Melancthon Township. Members of the Ontario Provincial Police from the Dufferin detachment responded to reports of a serious collision at the scene.
The young man was rushed to a Toronto-area hospital but later died from his injuries. Authorities have not released his name.
Police say the investigation remains active and are urging anyone who may have been driving in the area at the time, particularly those with dashcam video, to come forward.
