A Brantford woman is facing multiple charges after two stolen vehicles were involved in separate crashes on Thursday.
Police say the first vehicle was stolen around 6:40 a.m. from the Harris Avenue and West Street area and was later found abandoned following a collision. Soon after, a second vehicle was reported stolen near Gilkinson Street and Colborne Street. That vehicle was later involved in a multi-vehicle crash at Dalhousie Street and Brant Avenue.
Officers arrested a 45-year-old Brantford woman, who is now charged with two counts of motor vehicle theft, two counts of dangerous driving, and three counts of failing to remain at a crash scene.
