Godspeed Brewery in Toronto’s east end has reopened after a small fire temporarily shut it down on Wednesday afternoon. Fire crews were called to the scene, located just south of Gerrard Street East and Coxwell Avenue, shortly after 3 p.m., where they found heavy smoke caused by a barrel fire.

The fire was quickly extinguished, and no injuries were reported. The brewery later confirmed on social media that everything was fine and operations resumed within a few hours. The incident was linked to preparations for an upcoming smoked beer project.
