A 60-year-old Cambridge driver has been charged with careless driving after a crash on Highway 404 in Aurora Monday morning, according to Ontario Provincial Police.
The incident occurred in the northbound lanes near Aurora Road, when the driver struck another vehicle that had slowed due to a police investigation on the shoulder.
No injuries were reported, but the collision prompted the closure of northbound lanes for cleanup. It remains unclear when the highway will fully reopen.
