A 38-year-old Chatham man has died following a collision with a semi-truck earlier this month.

The incident occurred on September 15 around 11:15 a.m. on St. Clair Street in Chatham. Police say the collision involved a cyclist and a semi-truck driven by a 40-year-old woman from London, who was not injured.

The cyclist was initially taken to Chatham-Kent Health Alliance with life-threatening injuries and later transferred to Windsor Regional Hospital. He died from his injuries on September 19.

Chatham-Kent Police’s Traffic Management Unit is leading the ongoing investigation. Authorities are asking anyone with information to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
