A 23-year-old Amherstburg man is facing impaired driving charges following a single-vehicle crash in LaSalle early Sunday morning.
LaSalle police say the collision occurred shortly after 2 a.m. on October 4 near Todd Lane and Malden Road, where a pickup truck struck a hydro pole.
The crash caused temporary power outages in parts of LaSalle. After speaking with the driver, officers reported detecting signs of impairment and subsequently laid charges.
The area remained closed for several hours while crews repaired the damaged power lines and made the scene safe.
