A jackknifed tractor-trailer caused major delays on the Toronto-bound QEW Friday morning after ending up in a ditch and blocking several lanes near Third Line. Police said the incident stemmed from a two-vehicle collision and was first reported around 10:30 a.m.
No injuries were reported, but traffic was heavily impacted as the Toronto-bound lanes remained closed for several hours while crews worked to clear the scene. The affected lanes reopened shortly after 1 p.m.
