A 20-year-old construction worker from Linwood, Ontario was critically injured after falling about eight metres from a roof at a Southgate Township job site Wednesday afternoon.
Emergency crews brought the worker to a nearby hospital before an air ambulance transferred them to a trauma centre due to the severity of the injuries. The Ministry of Labour has taken over the investigation into the incident.
