A collision between two tractor-trailers caused a diesel spill in Mississauga on Tuesday evening. The crash occurred on Lakeshore Road and Avonhead Road.
Although no injuries were reported, one of the trucks was damaged, leading to fuel leaking onto the road and into a nearby catch basin. Mississauga Fire crews attended the scene with their environmental response unit, and Peel Region’s spills coordinator was notified to assist with containment and cleanup.
