A 70-year-old woman was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle while cycling in Scarborough on Wednesday morning.
The collision occurred just before 9 a.m. near Huntingwood Drive and Kennedy Road. She was taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver remained at the scene. Kennedy Road, which was temporarily closed between Norcap Avenue and Huntingwood Drive for the investigation, has since reopened.
