A cyclist was taken to hospital with critical injuries following a morning collision in Ottawa’s Lowertown area.
The crash happened around 8:45 a.m. near Sussex Drive and Bruyère Street, where emergency crews responded to reports of a cyclist being struck by a vehicle.
Paramedics treated the injured man at the scene before transporting him to hospital for further care. His injuries are considered critical but not life-threatening.
Ottawa police are investigating the circumstances of the collision.
