A 30-year-old cyclist suffered life-threatening injuries after being struck by a pickup truck Thursday night in Springwater township.
The collision happened around 10:30 p.m. on County Road 27 between Doran Road and Horseshoe Valley Road West. The cyclist was taken to a local hospital before being airlifted to a Toronto-area hospital.
The pickup truck driver remained at the scene. Roads in the area were closed for several hours and reopened around 4:30 a.m.
