A cyclist was seriously injured in a collision with a vehicle at a busy Brampton intersection on Saturday morning.
Peel Regional Police said the crash occurred shortly before 10 a.m. near Kennedy Road and Eastern Avenue. The adult male cyclist was transported to a trauma centre with serious injuries.
Police confirmed the driver remained at the scene. Kennedy Road was shut down in both directions between Queen Street and Eastern Avenue as officers investigated.
It remains unclear whether any charges will be laid.
