A cyclist suffered serious injuries after being hit by a vehicle in Toronto’s Regent Park area Tuesday morning.
Police responded to the intersection of Bayview Avenue and Gerrard Street around 7 a.m. following reports of a collision involving a cyclist and a vehicle.
Investigators say the male cyclist was transported to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. The driver remained at the scene following the crash.
As police continue their investigation, the Bayview Avenue extension has been closed at Rosedale Valley Road.
