A man in his 20s was taken to hospital with serious injuries after being struck by a vehicle near Christie Pits Park Sunday morning.
Toronto police responded to the area of Christie Street and Bloor Street West shortly after 8:15 a.m. following reports of a cyclist being hit.
Paramedics transported the cyclist to a trauma centre in serious but stable condition.
Police say the driver and vehicle remained at the scene. Christie Street was closed in both directions between Barton Avenue and Bloor Street West during the response but has since reopened.
