A 70-year-old man from Denfield has been charged with careless driving following a rollover collision with a hydro pole in Lucan.
The incident occurred just before 6 p.m. on Wednesday on Denfield Road. Emergency services responded to reports of a single-vehicle rollover. Police later determined that the vehicle had left the road, rolled over, and struck a hydro pole. The driver was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
As a result of the investigation, the driver was charged with careless driving. Denfield Road was closed between Prince William Road and Maple Lodge Drive for several hours while hydro crews replaced the damaged pole.
