Two people were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries following an alleged dog attack near the intersection of Bloor and Church streets on Monday afternoon.
Police were called to the area around 3:30 p.m. after receiving reports that a person had been bitten by a dog. Upon arrival, officers found two individuals suffering from injuries believed to have been caused by the animal.
Both victims were transported to hospital for treatment. The dog and its owner remained at the scene when emergency responders arrived.
Police have launched an investigation and are working with Toronto Animal Services to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
