Grey Bruce Public Health is trying to locate the owner of a dog involved in a bite incident in Flesherton. The event took place last Friday at about 7 p.m. in Memorial Park on Sydenham Street, beside the Grey Highlands Museum.
The dog is described as a black-and-white border collie with a collar, and no owner was seen nearby at the time. Officials are aiming to locate the dog to check for rabies, as confirming it is healthy could eliminate the need for precautionary treatment for the person who was bitten.
Authorities are asking anyone with relevant information to come forward and contact the health unit.
