A 77-year-old Kincardine resident has died following a single-vehicle crash in the Township of Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh on Sunday morning.
Huron County OPP said the collision occurred shortly after 9 a.m. on Bruce Road 86 between Sideroad 20 South and Sideroad 25 after a vehicle left the roadway. The driver suffered life-threatening injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash led to the temporary closure of Bruce Road 86 and a section of Kintail Line while investigators examined the scene. Both roads have since reopened as the investigation continues.
