A collision between a Honda SUV and a Maserati SUV closed part of Lexington Road in Waterloo Wednesday afternoon.
The crash occurred around 2:40 p.m., shutting down Lexington Road between Davenport Road and Anndale Road. Emergency crews remained on scene for hours, and one vehicle was seen flipped onto its side.
The Honda’s driver, an 81-year-old man, was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries. The Maserati’s driver, a 45-year-old woman, and her two passengers were unharmed.
The road has since reopened, and police continue to investigate the incident.
