A 27-year-old driver has been arrested by Ontario Provincial Police in connection with a hit-and-run in Guelph-Eramosa Township.
The incident happened Monday night around 10:30 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 6 and Wellington Road 7, where a dark sedan collided with a pickup truck. The driver fled the scene, but witness information helped officers locate the suspect at a nearby property, where a damaged vehicle was also found.
The accused now faces charges for leaving the scene of a collision and careless driving.
