A 33-year-old woman has been charged following a three-vehicle crash in North Bay on Sunday afternoon involving an SUV and two motorcycles. The collision occurred around 1 p.m. near Lakeshore Drive and Premier Road when the SUV exited a private driveway and struck an 18-year-old motorcyclist, causing him to lose consciousness.

A second 18-year-old motorcyclist, riding alongside the first, attempted to avoid the crash but was also involved and suffered minor injuries. Both motorcyclists were taken to hospital; one was initially in critical condition but has since stabilized, while the other was treated and released.

The SUV driver, who was uninjured, has been charged with failing to yield when exiting a driveway under Section 139(1) of Ontario’s Highway Traffic Act.
