A 28-year-old driver sustained critical injuries in a single-vehicle crash north of Kingston early Sunday morning. The Ontario Provincial Police responded to the scene on Wilmer Road in the village of Perth Road shortly after 12:15 a.m. The driver, who was alone in the vehicle, was rushed to the hospital with injuries described as life-altering and potentially life-threatening.
The crash caused a temporary closure of Wilmer Road, though the road has since been reopened. The incident is under investigation.
